About: Wine Dinner at Bone and Broth with MetroWines 
and Vine Connections
Join us at Bone and Broth on Wednesday, September 25th starting 6pm
for "A Walk Through the Andes" at Bone and Broth on Charlotte Street. Our host for the evening will be Donna Creese from Vine Connections. 
"This dinner is all about the wines of Chile and Argentina," says Gina Trippi, co-owner of MetroWines. "We hope to introduce you to some new wines, different flavors and pairings you might not have considered!"
Bone and Broth Chef Chris Benson has tasted all the wines to create just the right food pairing. "His expertise and extra attention to the pairing process makes all the difference for diners," says Sam Douglas, General Manager of Bone and Broth.
With this focus on Chile and Argentina, expect the unexpected! We welcome you with a Rose from Chile, then four courses paired with four wines that well represent the region, followed by dessert.

Food- Grilled Pork Tenderloin with milcao and garnished with tomato, feta, olive pesto

Course 3-Chile

Wine-Casa Silva, Carmenere, Los Lingues Vineyard valle del Colchagua 2017

Food- Beef Tenderloin crudo, with a small salad with seasonal vegetables and a blackberry vinaigrette and flatbread

Course 4 Argentina

Wine-Luca Syrah Laborde double select Uco Valley

Food-  Asado 1- Roulade and pork chorizo and provoletta, roast purple potatoes and cherry tomato asado sauce

Course 5-Argentina

Wine-Tikal Jubilo Mendoza 2014

Food-Asado 2- Grilled assorted steaks, grilled eggplant, with onions and chimmichurri

Course 6-Argentina

Food- Bittersweet chocolate éclair filled with Dulce de leche creme Chantilly

Asado is an Argentinian BBQ over fire and coals

About Vine Connections:
Nick Ramkowsky and Ed Lehrman got their wine careers started early. Nick began working at North Berkeley Wine Shop while attending UC Berkeley, eventually becoming the store’s manager and wine buyer. Ed started collecting wine as a hobby and storing it in the bottom 2 drawers of his dorm dresser at Duke University before moving to NYC where he worked at New York’s premier wine shop, Sherry-Lehmann.
While on a trip in 1999 visiting wineries in Mendoza, Argentina, Ed and Nick realized they had to introduce America to the best wines from the world’s 5th largest (but still fairly unknown) wine producing country. Donna Creese
Mid-Atlantic Regional Sales Manager
Donna Creese, Mid-Atlantic Regional Sales Manager, works in DC, MD, DE, VA, NC, WV, TN, and PA. She came to Vine Connections in 2014 with a strong background in luxury properties and food & beverage management.
Growing up on a farm in Virginia, driving a tractor with her dad, tossing hay bales, birthing calves and working with horses, she reached for excellence in her pursuits early joining the jumper circuit showing. Today Donna resides on the eastern shore of Maryland, in a small sailing community enjoying her down time with her two dogs and lots of friends.  
In addition to being accomplished in a list of sports, Donna is an also excellent cook working with greens from the gardens surrounding her cottage home. This brings real hands on knowledge to her passion for South America making wine and food events special.
