About: Zoom Presentation on Current Staff Favorites
Join Brett Watson, Wine Buyer @MetroWines, on Friday, February 19th at 5:30 for a Zoom presentation about which wines staff is taking home! This is the first in a monthly series: "What's MetroWines Drinking."
"These are current staff favorites," says Brett Watson. "All three wines are weighty  enough to handle the cold, versatile enough to pair with most dishes and offer aromas and flavors that appeal to most people."
Sektkellerei Ohlig Pinot Noir Brut Rosé (Germany)
"Blend of high elevation German mountain varietals done as a brut sekt (bone dry) sparkling rose.  A bubbly mouth party under a rose bush in summer or by the fire watching the Western Carolina snow."
Pietra Cesanese 2018 (Lazio, Italy)
"Peppy, green, brambly old world and entirely classical Cesanese.  An indigenous grape to Lazio and not produced anywhere outside of Italy.  Gulpable, but also the substance of educated conversationalist."
Decendientes De Palacios Petalos 2018 (Spain)
"One of the least known, but exciting Spanish grapes you've never heard of.  Made as true to the land as one could desire by a legends son.  Drink now and ask questions later."
The Zoom is "on the house" but, if you want to taste along with Brett, the three wines will be available for purchase at a discounted price at MetroWines for $57.76 (including tax)
