Talking Dirty @ Rose's Garden Shop

This past week was another great turn out for Talking Dirty at Rose's Garden shop. As always I was armed with two great wines for all to taste. To begin with we enjoyed a great Burgundian Chardonnay from Macon that's produced by Nicolas Potel. It was a crowd favorite. Great tropical fruit notes, bright acid, and limestone minerality really made this wine shine.

The next wine on the pour was Cuvelier los Andes Cabernet Sauvignon from Mendoza Argentina. Everyone was really impressed with the power and finesse that this wine possesed. It totally makes sense though, because the wine making family behind this wine have been producing wonderful Left Bank Bordeauxs for over 100 years at Chateau Le Crock. Nothing like experienced wine makers looking for new terroir to experiment with.
