Sofia Coppola

"Lost in Translation." That was Sofia Coppola. Sparkling wine, Blanc de Blancs, in a way too cute single serve cans, each with a straw!  That is Sofia Coppola too. Made in Monterey on the California Central Coast, Sofia says this pop top is for "the impetuous," "the impromptu." In essence, this sparkle in a can is for "the kind of person who lives like there is no tomorrow." With aromas of pear, honeysuckle and passion fruit, the aromas palate continue on to the palate adding crisp apple, melon and juicy tangerine. The Metro Wines Tasting Panel says the Prosecco like Blanc de Blancs is mouth tingling and, although the adjective is overused in wine lingo, downright refreshing.  And, although this suggestion is overused in wine lingo, it really is true in this case: Perfect for a party or a gift. The can is well, uncanny. Look at it!
