Join us on February 5th from 5:30 to 6:30 for The MetroWines Chili Cookoff. Wines will be presented and discussed by Rexine Connor, Mid-Atlantic Manager for Crimson Wine Group (https://www.crimsonwinegroup.com). Who will claim the title?
 
"MetroWines staff, Lou, Andy, Brett and John, are busting out their best pots of chili in this first annual cookoff," says Gina Trippi, co-owner of MetroWines. "And there will be a vegetarian option!"
 
Lou says: "Your spurs will be jingling and jangling after my Cowboy Chile, Pardner. This chili bites back at you."
 
Andy says: "My garlic chili will save you from vampires and make the case for white wine and chili!"
 
Brett says: "Settle in to this traditional old world Wisconsin ground beef based chili that is the perfect blend of racy spices and dad-rock savory.  You'll be asking why you haven't brought Wisconsin to your table sooner."
 
John says: "My all bean chili will shame all meat chilis and prove that these big flavors can handle big reds. Just sayin."
 
Wines include Seven Hills Merlot from Walla Walla and Seghesio Sonoma Zinfandel as well as a Chenin Blanc and Viognier Blend from Pine Ridge and Archery Summit Pinot Gris.
