He also hosts Star Talk" for National Geographic Channel and is editor of the show's companion book "Star Talk: Everything you Ever Need to Know About Space Travel, SciFi, the Human Race, the Universe, and Beyond."

  * Alexa Hampton:

Fans of the PBS show "This Old House" will recognize Ms. Hampton as the only female cast member in the show's history. A member of The Board of Trustees for new York School of Interior Design, The New York Landmarks Conservancy and the Insitute for Clasical Architecture & Art, Ms. Hampton is the author of two books: "The Language of Interior Design" and "Decorating in Detail." Regularly included on Architectural Digest's Design List, she earned the swagger of Cosmopolitan's Fun Fearless Female Award.

  * Magnus Carlson:

World Chess Champion. Carlson begins his title defense against Sergey Karjakin in lower Manhattan. The best of 12 match represents the first time a world championship match has been held in the U.S. since 1995 when Garry Kasparov defeated "Vishy' Anand on the Observation Deck on the 107th Floor of The World Trade Center. Carlson is a 25 year old Norwegian and represents Russia.

  * Betsey Johnson:  

Born August 10, 1942, Betsey Johnson is an American fashion designer best known for her feminine and whimsical designs. Many of her designs are considered "over the top" and embellished. She also is known for doing a cartwheel at the end of her fashion shows. Johnson's fashion career started after she entered and won the " Madamoiselle" Guest Editor Contest. Within a year, she was the in-house designer for the Manhattan boutique Paraphernalia. Johnson became part of both the "youthquake" fashion movement and Andy Warhol's underground scene, along with The Velvet Underground Edie Sedgwick and Lou Reed. In 1969, she opened a boutique called Betsey Bunky Nini on New York City's Upper East Side. Edie Sedgwick was her house model and Johnson designed the clothing Sedgwick wore on her last film, "Ciao Manhattan."
