The Importer Says: "The estate is situated on the same plateau as Saint Emilion
and Pomerol and sits on the second highest point in the Gironde.
The soil type varies but is principally a mix of clay, silex and limestone, with high acidity levels.
Average vine-age is 50 years. No synthetic treatments have ever been used at estate.
Certified biodynamic. Manual harvest. Grapes entirely destemmed. Long cuvaison, 2-4 weeks.
Only indigenous yeast utilized. In barrel for 24 months. Not fined or filtered before bottling."

The robe is garnet red, with hints of ruby.  The nose is fruity, with ripe red fruit aromas
dominated by blackcurrant and redcurrant, accented with roasted almond notes
and occasional hints of mushrooms and undergrowth. The palate is well-rounded,
full-bodied and precise, with velvety tannins paving the way for a long and complex finish.
