About: Blind Tasting League Returns!
The Blind Tasting League, hosted by Andy Hale, Director of The Asheville School of Wine @MetroWines, returns on Thursday, September 19th from 5:30 to 6:30 @MetroWines.
The Blind Tasting League is moving on and moving up. "Expect wines to be higher quality and the commentary to be more in depth than our last series," says Andy Hale. "but we will keep the causal, no pressure comfortable, atmosphere that makes it work!"
The hour promises to be a fun, humorous and an exciting way to learn the deductive style of identifying what's in your glass. "And it's good for you!" Andy Hale says. "Research shows blind tasting is one of the best exercises for your brain, better than crossword puzzles, the jumble and sudoku."
Andy Hale will host The Blind Tasting League on the third Thursday quarterly. And expect "Pop UP" Blind Tasting Events featuring wine importers and winemakers as they come through Asheville.
"We want to tap into their expertise while they are available to us." says Gina Trippi, co-owner of MetroWines. "This a great way to combine the facts of wine life with inside information from this close to the source."
Free, close and easy parking available as always.
