Sushi Rolling Class with Sake
Saturday, 26 November 2022 09:20Please join us on Saturday, December 17th from 2 to 4pm for "Sushi Making Class and Sake Tasting" at The Asheville Beauty Academy located at 28 Broadway Street in downtown Asheville.
Class will be hosted by Chef and Owner Nandar Kaung from "Mr. Sushi" with locations in Biltmore Forest and now at 354 Merrimon in North Asheville.
Students will experience two types of sushi roll demonstrations, one with sushi on the outside and the other with rice on the outside, paired with a Sake Flight, each pour a different style. Students then prepare their own sushi rolls and enjoy their culinary work with a glass of white wine! Bamboo matts are included as well as recipes for sushi rolling. Vegan options available.
The first "Mr. Sushi," family owned and independently operated, opened on February 1st of 2017 with a mission "to provide the best sushi possible for a reasonable price."
Following a successful two years, the second location opened on September 18, 2019 on Merrimon Avenue, just minutes from downtown Asheville. "Mr. Sushi" and family have over twenty years of collective experience in the art.
