Please join us on Thursday, December 15th @MetroWines for The French Fête. Start the holiday season with innovative dishes by Chef Sam Etheridge of AMBROZIA paired with wines from Asheville based importer Jean Philippe Bourgeois.The evening starts at 6:30 with a Champagne Toast followed by seating at 7pm for a four course menu. The first course will be paired with a lovely White Bordeaux and the next two courses will each be partnered with a red Bordeaux with the last course with  a wine from St. Emilion, all expressing the wide range and styles of this famed region. What could be more French?

Chef Sam Etheridge of AMBROZIA cooks "The Bear," as seen on HULU, and pairs his take on the dishes with Materra Wines all presented in a casual cocktail party atmosphere with food and wine stations. A representative of the winery will join us and be available to answer questions.

Please join us on Tuesday, November 1st for dinner with Sovereign Remedies in the Parlor of the new event space, the historic building known as the Asheville Beauty Academy, located at 28 Broadway Street in Asheville. Join Malaprop’s and Metro Wines on Sunday, October 16th, from 1 to 3:30 at Metro Wines, 169 Charlotte Street in Asheville, for a rare in-person event with award-winning authors Barbara Quick (What Disappears) and Gavin Larsen (Being a Ballerina: The Power and Perfection of a Dancing Life).Authors will mix with the crowd and read select passages from their work, illuminating the world of ballet past and present.
